How can your personal data be collected?

Depending on how the customer interacts with the Albano Morgado, S.A. (online, offline, by phone and/or in person), we collect several types of information about you, accordingly to the following description:

Personal contact information: This includes information provided by the customer, allowing us to contact you, namely, your name, zip code, email address, social media data or phone number.

Demographic information: Any information that describes your demographic and behavior characteristics. Some examples include your date of birth, age, age group, geographic location (e.g., zip code), favorite products, hobbies, and interests, as well as information regarding household or lifestyle.

Technical information about computer/mobile device: Any information regarding the computer system or other technological device that uses one of our Websites or Apps, Internet Protocol (IP), used to connect the computer or the mobile device to the Internet, type of operative system, and also the type and version of web navigator. If you access to our website or App through a mobile device, such as a smartphone, the collected data will include, whenever allowed, the unique identification number of your mobile phone, advertising identifier, geolocation, and other similar data related to mobile devices.

Information of website/communications’ use: When you navigate and interact with our websites or newsletters, we use automatic data collection technologies in order to collect certain information about your activity. This includes information such as the links you click, the pages or viewed contents, and for how long. We also collect information and statistics concerning your interactions, as the times of content response, download errors, and how long certain pages were visited.
This information is sourced through automated technologies, namely cookies (navigator cookies, flash cookies) and web beacons, as well as by third party tracking services (such as Double Click, Google Analytics, Adobe Dynamic Tag Management and/or Omniture). The customer has the right to oppose to the use of these technologies.
Customers Feedback: It includes information, voluntarily shared with us, about the using experience by the customer of our products and services.

Content produced by the customer: This refers to any content created by you and then shared with us in a social media app/platform, or transferred to one of our websites or Apps, including the use of social media apps/platforms like Facebook for example.
Some examples include photographs, videos, personal stories, and other similar contents or supports.
When allowed, we collect and publish content generated by the customer in a set of activities, including contests, sales, communities’ websites functionalities, consumer engagement and third-party activities on social media.

To which ends can we use your personal data?

Customer Support Services: We use your personal data for customer support services, including answering your questions. Usually, this process implies the use of certain personal contact information, and information related to the reason for your question, (e.g., technical matters, question/complain regarding the product, generic questions, etc.).

Other general purposes: We use your personal data to other commercial purposes, such as conducting internal marketing and demographic studies, as well as to evaluate the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.

Legal reasons or merger/acquisition: In the event of the Albano Morgado, S.A. or its assets been acquired by other company or incorporated in it, including insolvency reasons, we can share your personal data with any of our legal successors.

How do we keep your personal data safe?

We make the commitment to assure the safety protection of the personal data provided to us by approving and implementing strict measures and techniques.

The compliance to the following rules constitutes an obligation to whom access the personal data:

  • Encrypted storage of personal data;
  • Use of firewalls to protect the information technology systems;
  • Permanent monitorization of the information technology systems accesses, preventing, detecting, and stopping your misuse data.

How long do we keep your personal data?

When there is no legal obligation to personal data preservation, your personal data is stored only during the required time for the purpose which they were collected. After that time, the personal data is anonymized or destroyed.

In the scope of this Security and Privacy Policy, your personal data are going to be preserved for a maximum period of 12 months (1 year), counted from the last contact/interaction made. 

Under which circumstances data is communicated to other entities (third parties and subcontractors)?

According to our activity, we can resort third parties to provide certain services, namely, the conduction of satisfaction inquiries.

Sometimes, the services provision implies the access, by these entities, to our clients’ personal data, the Albano Morgado, S.A. keeps responsible to for the personal data provided.

When the entities access the data, appropriated measures are made in order to make sure they’re reputable and offer the highest guaranties, which will be duly established in a contract, signed between the parties.

Thereby, any subcontracted entity, has the responsibility to adopt technical and organizational measures, needed to protect personal data against accidental /illicit destruction, unintended loss, change, propagation, non-authorized access and/or any other form of illicit treatment.

The Albano Morgado, S.A. transmits your data to the represented brands for the following purposes:
  • Granting of legal and contractual guarantee;
  • Carrying out security campaigns to which they are subject, by virtue of the contracts that Albano Morgado, S.A. does with their customers;

Child Privacy

Our service doesn’t address to people under 16 years old ("Child”). The child data is only collected through the authorization given by the ownership of parental responsibilities, why we don’t intentionally collect child’s personal identification data.

In case you’re the owner of parental responsibilities or the tutor and have knowledge that your son/daughter or tutored has given us personal data, please contact us.

In case we have knowledge that personal data from under 16, has been collected without consent, we are taking immediate measures to remove this information from our servers.

How can I access, change/remove my personal data, or remove my consent?

The data owner has the right to request, at any moment, the rectification of its personal data, by filling out a form for this purpose or through a request made to the Data Protection Officer.

The data owner has the right to remove, at any moment, the consent made or request its personal data removal, by filling out a form for this purpose or through a request made to the Data Protection Officer.
